Last April, the Tenerife Opera announced its 2025/26 season, which features, among its most important titles, a staging of Richard Wagner's "Der fliegende holländer" starring Luis Cansino in what will be his first foray into the Wagnerian repertoire. Featuring a 100% Spanish cast in the main roles, in a resounding commitment to national talent, the production, which will premiere in November of this year, will be musically directed by Guillermo García Calvo and will feature Marcelo Lombardero as stage director.
