"Adriana Lecouvreur" by Francesco Cilea will close the 2023-24 operatic season at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona with Luis Cansino, returning to the prestigious Catalan coliseum, as Michonnet, one of the most successful roles in his career in recent years.
The performances, which will take place between June 16 and 29, 2024, correspond to a co-production between the Gran Teatre del Liceu itself, the Royal Opera House in London, the Opéra de Paris, the Wiener Staatsoper and the San Francisco Opera , stage directed by David McVicar and with Patrick Summers as Musical Director.
