Luis Cansino will close the 2023/24 season making his debut in Estonia as part of the tour that the Fundació Opèra a Catalunya during the month of July in the cities of Tartu and Saaremaa within the framework of Saaremaa ooperipäevad 2024. Cansino will play Baron Scarpia in “Tosca” by Giacomo Puccini and will reprise the role of Escamillo from the opera “Carmen” by Georges Bizet in what will be his final farewell to this character, which was the first operatic role he sang in his career. Both titles will have the stage direction of Carles Ortiz and the musical direction of Sergi Roca and Daniel Gil de Tejada, respectively.
